Couples Therapy
There are many different ways that you as a couple can access counselling to assist in making thoughtful decisions about rebuilding and strengthening your relationship or going your separate ways. Counselling can assist in recognizing and resolving conflicts, improving communication, and understanding your partner. Couples therapy can be utilized for marital and relationship difficulties, pre-marital counselling, or divorce/separation recovery.

Children/Adolescence Therapy
Ages 7+
Children and adolescents are faced with the tough task of navigating a world full of expectations, hopes, and challenges at a very fast pace. We work with children and adolescents in a more creative way, using more developmentally appropriate activities. Depending on age, these activities may include drawing and playing games, while allowing children and adolescents to integrate necessary skills such as emotional regulation and communication. Virtual play therapy is also available for children.

Family Therapy
Families can have wonderful dynamics, however sometimes those dynamics can also create difficult relationships and be a significant source of stress. Utilizing family therapy can allow family members to work through these differences in a respectful, open, safe environment. This can allow these relationships to gain back lost trust, deeper understandings, and new communication skills going forward.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is based on the latest research in neuroscience and is considered the treatment of choice for helping people resolve their problems. EMDR has been very successful in helping people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, post traumatic stress, and many other emotional challenges. EMDR is very effective in helping people process emotionally painful and traumatic experiences and bring relief from emotional disturbance.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on a client's internal “parts” and “Self.” In IFS, the mind is considered to be naturally made up of multiple sub-personalities within each individual's mental system. These sub-personalities take on different roles, such as an inner critic, and consist of painful feelings like anger or shame. The goal in IFS is to unburden and restore these parts to create harmony in the internal system.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched method of therapy that helps people overcome unhelpful and distorted thoughts and replace them with more positive and healthy ones.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) has main goals of teaching people how to live in the moment, adapt healthy coping skills for stress, regulate emotions, gain skills for tolerating their distress. DBT can provide my client's with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships. originally intended for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) but has since been adapted for other conditions where the person struggles with emotional regulation or exhibits self-destructive behaviour

Hypnotherapy is a highly focused state of mind, which allows the subconscious mind to become more available, allowing changes to take effect on a deep level.
